Goal: To make you want to lick the screen.
Awww yeeeaah... It's here! Can't wait to get it read and get started taking delicious, professional quality pictures!
So, if you follow me on Facebook, you'll know we haven't been feeling well around here lately, hence the lack of posts. The first person to get sick was Becca with a fever, which as mean as it sounds, was a much needed break! She just laid around quietly for two days. And shopping with a sick Becca... ah-maz-ing. I wasn't that frazzled mom yelling at her crazy, disobedient child running down the aisle. I also didn't mind when I started feeling run down and low-energy from fighting off the bug. I didn't mind laying around doing nothing. But what I did end up minding was my little Sarah's turn. She spent two restless nights so congested that she couldn't suck her thumb, which is huge problem for her. No.bueno. When I wasn't up with her, I was holding her in bed, which only makes for three things: a bad night's sleep, a stiff body, and a cranky me. So the last several days I have been totally exhausted and craving sugar like crazy, I guess for the energy. And while yes, I have been eating sugar, at least it hasn't been anything non-paleo (I gotta get points for that!): Bananas, dark chocolate, almond flour pancakes, lemon-blueberry muffins...
Today I started off totally not feeling like being back on track with either diet or exercise. But I forced myself to get a workout in this morning. When I started the video, Cardio Power and Resistance, I had it set in my mind that I only had enough energy in me to give it minimal effort. Within only a few minutes I had changed my mind and decided I was not going to waste my time half-assing it. I was going to fully commit. I was flushed, sweaty, shaky, and a little nauseous by the time I was done. I.felt.awesome. That's how we dooo.
Also, I've had a few chances to try my shoes out with the Cardio workouts. I still love them! I also recently purchased these:
These are so soft and comfy and the heals don't work their way down like a lot of other ankle socks I've worn. They also have arch bands, which I love. I got these in a six pack with all neon colors, yellow, orange, pink, green, blue, and dark blue. I <3 Under Armour.
And this:
I was not trying to hide the size on the tag hahaha and just to prove it: it's an XL. There's just no hiding it: I have big boobs and since I know I'm not the only one we might as well talk bras. I wasn't sure this one was going to cut it since it's only mid-impact and my workouts have me doing a lot of running in place and even more jumping. It works pretty well and I don't "notice" my boobs, but I think I could do better finding a high-impact bra. I love the look of it, the color, and the band at the bottom... totally cute. And I really like the material it's made out of; It doesn't make me feel overly hot. What I don't like about it is that, well it's obviously a compression bra which can be unflattering, but who really cares when you're working out. Also, did I mention I love Under Armour? :D
